My name is Curtis DeBaun IV, I am running for Vigo County Council, 4th District. I am running as a Democrat and consider myself a Moderate Democrat. I have lived in Vigo County all of my life and I would like the opportunity to serve the people of the county.

About Me
I am a graduate of West Vigo High School (2001). After graduating I enrolled at Indiana State University where I discovered a strong interest in history. I earned my BS in history in 2005 and decided to continue with my education. In 2009 I received my MS in history from Indiana State. I briefly studied business at Indiana Wesleyan University, but left in order to pursue a Ph.d in Post Secondary Education, a degree I am currently working on. I currently work in the family business, DeBaun Funeral Homes as the Director of Marketing. I also oversee New Harmony Cemetery. I am a member of Sigma Tau Gamma fraternity, Phi Alpha Theta honor society, Free and Accepted Masons (Social Lodge 86), and a member of the Scottish Rite Valley of Terre Haute.
